Endoscope Repairs and Surgical Instruments in South Africa

We repair rigid, semi-rigid and flexible endoscopes from all major manufacturers, including nephroscopes, ureteroscopes, and video and fibre flexible scopes. Every scope is repaired with quality parts and returned to the original manufacturer’s (OEM) specification.

In most cases, repair is far more cost-effective. A major repair typically costs around R5,000 to R12,000, while a new or service-exchange endoscope costs in the region of R16,000 to R50,000.

Rigid endoscope repairs carry a 12-month warranty on parts and labour, and flexible endoscope repairs carry a 6-month warranty. The warranty excludes damage from improper handling or negligence.

Yes. We keep more than 100 rigid loan scopes and about 20 flexible video scopes, so your hospital or practice can keep performing procedures while your endoscope is with us.

Yes. We are a national repair facility. We offer national collection for rigid, semi-rigid and flexible endoscopes, with comprehensive insurance covering every scope in transit.

We aim to send a quotation within 48 hours of receiving your scope. As South Africa’s sole agent for Scope Control, we also send you a free before-and-after test report on every rigid scope we repair.

Yes. We are the authorised South African agent for Nouvag and Dovideq, and the official repair centre for Nouvag equipment. We also supply our own range of fibre optic light cables and the GEM 11 ring cutter.
